Pamphobeteus sp. "tigris", also known as the Ecuadorian Black Birdeater Tarantula, is a rare and undescribed species of tarantula native to Ecuador. They are large tarantulas, potentially reaching up to 19cm+ in leg span as adults. This species is relatively new to the tarantula hobby, with captive breeding efforts having recently started.
